Containerized Chiller Plant (KALTZER)

Containerized Chiller Plant; is a water cooling plant produced by Evanso especially for use in concrete batching plants for Concrete Cooling demands. It is also used for process cooling in food and beverage production. The most important feature of this plant is that it produces outlet water directly up to 1°C. We call our containerized chiller plants KALTZER. We add the hourly cooling capacity at the end: for example, a plant with a cooling capacity of 400kW is called KALTZER400.

• Kaltzer facilities consist of 2 containers and 1 water tower on top.

• The container on the ground contains a water tank. The outlet water is stored in this tank.

• The upper container is the main system container that houses the cooling group.

• At the top is the water tower, where the water first enters and the first cooling occurs. The water tower is also responsible for cooling the water circulated from the condenser.

• The facility cools the water with a 4-stage cooling method.

• The first stage takes place in the water tower, as mentioned above.

• The 2nd and 3rd stages take place in shell & tube evaporators.

• The 4th stage takes place in an ice water tank with serpentines inside.

• The water that has completed the 4th stage is discharged into the tank at the desired temperature.

• We can place units that can produce up to 240 m³ of cold water per day in a 20-foot ISO container, and up to 480 m³ of cold water per day in a 40-foot container.

• They are Plug&Play facilities. Installation time is very short.

• Can be controlled with VFD.

• It provides 30% energy efficiency compared to traditional chiller facilities.
